California Live | NBC: How To Create A Statement Eye Look
I'm back on California Live sharing makeup tips and tricks to create a statement eye! Have you ever wanted to try applying a winged (cat-eye) on yourself? I have a stencil that will let you create the perfect crisp line, every single time! Would you try colored Eyeliner or how about Magnetic Eyelashes??? I promise you creating a bold eye look is a lot easier than you might think and it can be wearable everyday (not just when you have special event). A winged eyeliner is a fun way to make a statement with your eyes. I know it can be a little intimidating, especially if you’ve tried it before and it didn’t go well. I found the most helpful stencil set that helps you guide the winged line so you can draw the perfect winged liner for YOUR eye shape!
One of my favorite ways to quickly add a statement to eyes is to play with color! Yes YOU can! : ) I will show you how to use a colored pencil in lash line. To make this wearable, I like to choose gemstone inspired colors: purples and blues are always beautiful. Choose what color you’re drawn to.
Finally, nothing creates and amplifies your eyes like lashes! I sharing my tips to applying them. P.s. You don’t have to deal with glue or stickiness (that’s half the battle!). I used the accent lashes to emphasize the outer corners of the eye, but you can choose full length lashes, too!
