MY FAVORITE TURMERIC FACE MASK!

Lately, my go-to face mask has been something I can create in my kitchen! Yes, KITCHEN!! I’ve been whipping up a Goats Milk Yogurt and Turmeric Face Mask whenever my skin looks red, feels irritated and needs a little extra TLC (it’s soo healing & soothing!). The first time I tried this, my jaw dropped! I was running around the house jumping up and down (I get really excited about these things) and forcing my husband to inspect my skin to confirm what I was seeing - skin was less red, brighter and much softer! Good news - it's only two ingredients, so it couldn’t be easier to make! ​Ingredients: Goats Milk Yogurt: 3oz (about 1/2 size of a single serving yogurt container). Turmeric: One tsp. Turmeric Powder

​RECIPE: ​​Directions:

  1. Mix One tsp. Turmeric Powder in 6oz Goats Milk Yogurt.

  2. Apply a thick layer of the mixture onto your skin. (I like to use a foundation brush to apply the mixture onto my face – it makes it easier to evenly distribute the mask everywhere. Plus, it’s a little more spa-like! Just make sure you wash the brush afterwards. ; ) )

  3. Leave on skin for 15-20 min.

  4. Rinse off with cool water and enjoy smooth, soft, less inflamed skin!

​TIPS

  • 3 oz. will be more than enough. Consider saving the extra in a container for next week! Mixture should stay good for shelf life of your yogurt!

  • You can use traditional yogurt! I prefer to use Goat’s Milk due to my sensitivities to cows milk.

Need to Know: ​Yogurt has naturally occurring Lactic Acid, which is excellent at gently exfoliating skin and dissolving dead skin cells! Hello, brighter, smoother skin! Turmeric is a powerhouse spice known for reducing inflammation and treating skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and dermatitis! Get on board- this stuff works!
